Assassin's Creed Introduces Bizarre Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected collaboration that breaks conventional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Uncovered
According to the authorized release, "A mysterious meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of prohibited rituals and monstrous transformations resonate through the darkness." The plot features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret group.
The adventure focuses on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses
The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Additional Features
Players who accomplish the adventure will receive an special katana together with numerous objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
