Singer D4vd Allegedly Identified as Person of Interest in Fatal Case of Teen Discovered in Tesla

This performer known as D4vd became named as a person of interest in the tragic passing of Celeste Rivas, a young girl who disappeared and was later discovered deceased inside the artist's Tesla car this past fall, based on police.

Finding of the Body

The decayed body of Rivas, fifteen, was discovered in the fall inside the front trunk of a black Tesla registered to D4vd, whose actual name is David Anthony Burke. This vehicle had been cited in a Hollywood area and afterwards confiscated at a tow yard in the city.

Timeline of Occurrences

Authorities suspect that Rivas almost certainly passed away in the springtime, adding that D4vd had probably been involved in cutting up and disposing of the remains. This musician has refused to cooperate in the inquiry, according to a law enforcement representative.

This teenager Rivas was initially declared missing from a city 60 miles from Los Angeles in April 2024. Her body was eventually located in the musician's Tesla after workers at Hollywood Tow reported a strong stench emanating from the automobile.

Inquiry and Official Remarks

The fatal cause has not yet been ascertained, but the coroner's office stated that Rivas “appears to have been no longer alive inside the car for an extended period before being found.” Police are treating her demise as a suspicious death.

Background on the Artist

The Texas-based artist had been handed a violation in the Los Angeles neighborhood just less than two weeks before Rivas was found in the vehicle, after overstaying the 72-hour parking limit. Residents in the area mentioned that the Tesla had been stationed in the area for over a month.

The victim's sibling revealed that the family was aware that Rivas was acquainted with the singer and that she was headed to watch a film with him just before she vanished.

D4vd, spoken as “David,” is a NY-native singer-songwriter recognized for the hits “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” D4vd and his agent were staying at a Los Angeles property in the Hollywood Hills in September, according to the property's owner, until police entered the residence.

D4vd has partnered with record labels. He was engaged in a concert series at the time Rivas's body were discovered, but cancelled those performances following the location of Rivas's corpse.
